Transaction Account Guarantee Program
Effective December 19, 2008
Home State Bank is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2009, all noninterest-bearing accounts, and all NOW accounts with interest rates of 0.5 percent or less, are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit rules.
President Bush signs temporary increase on coverage
On October 3, 2008, President George W. Bush signed the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, which temporarily raises the basic limit on federal deposit insurance coverage from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor. The temporary increase in deposit insurance coverage became effective immediately upon the President's signature. The legislation provides that the basic deposit insurance limit will return to $100,000 after December 31, 2009

In order to protect your security, and to assure the receipt of these items, it is important that you keep our system up-to-date with your most current email address. To update your address on our system, simply log-in to our online banking product, click on the 'Options' tab, and update your address on that page.
It is also important that you add 'sekbank.com' as a trusted email sender on your computer or email provider, so you can receive our emails.
